Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of LVN training from accredited school or college.
• Valid LVN license in good standing.
• Valid CPR and BLS card.
• IV Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Providing routine daily nursing care in privacy according to standards.
• Checking vital signs and reporting changes to the nurse supervisor.
• Dressing wounds and inserting catheters as directed.
• Listening to residents and families and addressing questions.
• Accurate charting of resident progress notes and timely reporting.
• Assisting and supervising CNAs and ensuring equipment is in good order.
• Monitoring residents at risk for falls and adhering to infection control policies.
• Completing assignments as requested by management.
