Job summary

Adventist Health Tehachapi Valley is seeking a licensed vocational nurse for per diem nursing care under RN/MD supervision. You will perform assigned medical procedures, participate in care planning, and ensure patient education and discharge planning are aligned with policy.

The role requires CA LVN/LPN licensure, BLS certification, and ACLS/ALS as applicable. Perioperative and department duties include supply management and maintaining a clean environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• LVN/LPN license required in state of practice.
• BLS Health Care Provider certification required.
• ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for assigned patients under RN/MD supervision.
• Conduct admission assessments and ongoing re-assessments.
• Coordinate diagnosis/tatient plan with interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and perform basic procedures.
• Order/restock supplies and maintain department cleanliness.
