Job summary

Adventist Health Tehachapi Valley seeks an RN for per diem day shift to provide coordinated nursing care to patients. This role involves supervising nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines, and applying the nursing process with professional judgment.

Qualifications

• Acute care facility experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group per established standards and nursing process.
• Supervises and directs activities of nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Uses critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervision to ensure safe patient care.
• Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care.
• Delegates duties appropriately and coordinates healthcare team tasks.
