Job summary

Crestwood Behavioral Health in Angwin, CA, seeks an LVN or LPT to provide direct nursing care per physician orders and care standards. You will guide non-licensed staff and operate the unit on an on-call schedule, joining a team focused on recovery and personal growth within a supportive campus.

Qualified candidates hold California LVN/LPT licensure, with knowledge of nursing theory, supervision ability, and teamwork. CPR/First Aid are required, and prior mental health nursing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
• Ability to supervise.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
• Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.

Job Duties

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides direct nursing care to the clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within their scope of practice. The nurse will provide direction to non-licensed personnel in providing direct client care and operating the unit.

CrestwoodCenter is a Mental Health Rehabilitation Center located in Angwin, amidst the beautiful hills of the Napa Valley. The facility provides a versatile array of classes for clients to participate in during their recovery program and encourages active participation in treatment planning from the moment of admission.

Pay Range

$40 - $42.04 USD
