Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living in Oak Park, IL seeks an LVN/LPN to administer medications, support wellness initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and assist with quality monitoring in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities.

You will lead Caregivers and Medication Technicians, communicate with healthcare practitioners, families, and team members to ensure timely clinical interventions and follow-up, while delivering compassionate, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active LVN or LPN license in the state where the community is located.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• One year of medication administration experience preferred.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Intermediate computer and mobile device skills.
• Professional, pleasant and team-oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on physicians orders; coordinate services with providers and report changes to physicians and families.
• Provide medication administration to residents per orders and report adverse reactions.
• Oversee tasks of Medication Technicians and care providers to ensure plans are followed.
• Make appropriate situational decisions and manage conflict constructively.
• Update resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports.
