Job summary

Sweetwater Care in California seeks a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care within scope and ensure patient needs are met per standards, physician orders, and local guidelines.

Responsibilities include medication administration, patient education, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Prior management experience is preferred; long-term care experience is highly valued. This role requires compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as LPN in state.

• Administers medications timely and per facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely and per facility policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders as allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

Objective
