Villa Las Palmas Healthcare Center in the United States is seeking an LPN/LVN Nursing Supervisor to oversee daily nursing operations and supervise nursing assistants. The role ensures care aligns with federal, state, and local standards while supporting the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities include directing nursing staff, ensuring policy compliance, updating procedures, planning shifts, and coordinating care with physicians.

Qualificações

• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules and guidelines.
• Ensure nursing personnel comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Review and revise department policies and procedures as needed.
• Plan shifts, services, programs, and activities with staff for effective care.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure compliance.
• Complete required documentation and reports for shift activities.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other departments to meet resident needs.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents as required.
• Supervise nursing functions including medication administration and patient care.
