Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, active nursing license in the state.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff and coordinate care across shifts.
• Knowledge of facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing assistant functions and ensure compliance with policies and guidelines.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered; verify patient identity and document accurately.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents; maintain accurate charts and documentation.
• Develop and monitor care plans; participate in quality assurance activities and surveys.
• Provide leadership to nursing personnel; perform rounds and coordinate with other departments.
