Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited LVN program.
• Active, unrestricted LVN license from California.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain at the time of hire.
• IV and Blood withdrawal certified.
• ACLS certification (preferred).
• PALS certification (preferred).
• 1+ years of LVN/LPN experience (preferred).

Aufgaben

• Direct patient to proper exam/treatment area and prepare patient for examinations and other procedures.
• Obtain records and vital signs and pertinent patient information for the RN or clinician.
• Administer medication and perform tests under supervision of clinician or RN.
• Notify pharmacies of new prescriptions and refills as ordered by the clinician.
• Collect, label, and transport specimens to appropriate destinations.
• Maintain and clean exam/treatment areas and medical equipment.
• Maintain logs, records of procedures and inventories of supplies.
• Perform telephone screening.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
