Ro Health, LLC is seeking a dedicated LVN to join our healthcare team at a correctional facility in Post, TX. This role is critical in delivering timely nursing care to incarcerated individuals, maintaining a safe, hygienic, and therapeutic environment, and supporting medical staff in daily operations.

Key duties include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, wound care, ADLs support, health screenings, emergency response, and accurate documentation in medical records.

Qualifications

• Active Texas LVN license in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Corrections experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, including oral, topical, and intramuscular injections, as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, reporting any abnormalities to RNs or medical providers.
• Assist with wound care, dressing changes, and basic medical treatments.
• Support patient mobility, hygiene, and activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Conduct health screenings and collect patient medical history.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid or CPR as necessary.
• Ensure proper infection control procedures and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and mental health providers to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in medical records.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with facility guidelines.

This position plays a vital role in providing essential healthcare services to incarcerated individuals, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and therapeutic environment within the facility.

Details:

• Location: Post
• Schedule: Full-time
• Shift: 5am-5pm
• Employment Type: Contract

Qualifications:

• Prior corrections experience is a plus!
