Job summary

DHR Health in Edinburg, TX is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for day shifts to assist registered nurses in providing patient care across designated departments.

The ideal candidate will have an accredited LVN program, current state licensure, CPR certification, and CPI training within 30 days of hire. Strong communication, teamwork, and cultural sensitivity are essential; hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of vocational nursing is required.
• Current state licensure is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• CPI training within 30 days of hire date.
• Must be able to be sensitive to cultural and bilingual issues.
• Good written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, administration, and physicians.
• Prefer hospital experience.
