Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of vocational nursing
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• CPI training within 30 days of hire date
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to communicate clearly with staff, administration and physicians
• Six months to one year hospital LVN experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Promotes the facility mission, vision and values within the unit
• Interacts as a team member to support the designated department
• Performs nursing duties according to approved policies and procedures
• Communicates effectively with patients, families and co-workers
• Documents information accurately and disseminates it to appropriate personnel
• Assists in behavioral units including children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics as needed
