Qualifications

• Texas LVN License required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred, preferably in a health care related field.
• 2-3 years recent clinical work experience in acute care setting.
• Knowledgeable in the principles of performance improvement.
• Certified Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, COLA/CLIA, CARF and HIPAA standards.
• Ability to interpret raw data and comparative analysis; experience with accreditation surveys.
• Independent decision making; professional image; regulatory standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Complete clinical audits for compliance.
• Assist COO with development, communication, and tracking of action plans to close gaps in care or compliance.
• Ensure adherence to Joint Commission, CMS, COLA/CLIA, CARF and HIPAA standards.
• Promote a safe environment for employees, patients and visitors.
