Job summary

Horizon Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to guide and assist with performance improvement, ensuring compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, CLIA, CARF and HIPAA standards. You will coordinate hospital-wide programs, perform clinical audits, and help develop and track action plans to close care gaps and regulatory deficiencies.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse or RRA license required.
• 2-3 years recent clinical work experience in acute care setting.
• Knowledgeable in the principles of performance improvement.
• Experience with accreditation survey activities (Joint Commission, CMS, State Licensure) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide and assist with quality management and performance improvement efforts.
• Coordinate Hospital-Wide Performance Improvement Program.
• Complete clinical audits for compliance.
• Assist COO with development, communication, implementation and tracking of action plans to close gaps in care or compliance.
• Coordinate review of demonstration programs and assist in outcomes via IRF PAI and RCD compliance.
