Job summary

Cantex in Texas is seeking an LVN/LPN to join our team as a Charge Nurse. The role involves supervising patient care within the LVN/LPN licensure scope and contributing to a positive care environment.

Responsibilities include nursing assessments, EMR documentation, implementing care plans, administering medications, and supervising CNA staff to ensure patient well-being. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing School.
• Valid LVN/LPN - Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse License.

• As an LVN/LPN - Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, you will participate in and oversee patient care within the scope of the LVN/LPN licensure.
• Observes, assesses, and reports Patient conditions/changes and documents in accordance with Cantex’s Clinical Policies & Procedures and state/federal guidelines & regulations.
• EMR documentation relevant to patient assessment, evaluation, change of condition, in accordance to nursing practices.
• Ensures implementation of care plans as directed and administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participates in assigning duties and supervises the delivery of appropriate clinical care by the CNA staff to ensure highest practical well-being is maintained by patient.

Education
