Job summary

Cantex is seeking an LVN/LPN to join the night shift (10pm–6am) and lead nursing care for patients. The nurse will participate in and oversee patient care within the LVN/LPN licensure scope, observe and report patient conditions, and document in the EMR.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Nursing School and a valid LVN/LPN license. Responsibilities include administering medications and supervising CNA staff to maintain high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Current LVN/LPN license in good standing.
• Experience with patient assessment and nursing care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and oversee patient care within the scope of LVN/LPN licensure.
• Observe, assess, and report patient conditions and document according to policies and regulations.
• Document EMR notes for patient assessments and changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Supervise CNA staff to ensure highest quality patient care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• As an LVN/LPN - Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, you will participate in and oversee patient care within the scope of the LVN/LPN licensure.
• Observes, assesses, and reports Patient conditions/changes and documents in accordance with Cantex’s Clinical Policies & Procedures and state/federal guidelines & regulations.
• EMR documentation relevant to patient assessment, evaluation, change of condition, in accordance to nursing practices.
• Ensures implementation of care plans as directed and administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participates in assigning duties and supervises the delivery of appropriate clinical care by the CNA staff to ensure highest practical well-being is maintained by patient.
