Responsibilities

• Triage patient phone calls under the direction of the RN, coordinating with Scheduler to ensure PRN visits are scheduled when necessary.
• Transcribes orders into the EMR and receives external orders into the EMR.
• Provides nursing interventions, patient and caregiver education, and prepares patients for discharge when appropriate.
• Maintains infection control measures to protect staff and patients.
• Participates in Agency-sponsored in-services and the QAPI program.
