Job summary

Community Action Corporation of South Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and contribute to QA/QI initiatives at our Beeville clinic. You will document services in the EMR and support community education efforts.

The role requires an active Texas RN license, accredited nursing education, and prior medical office experience. Duties include basic lab work, patient education, and coordinating referrals and authorizations as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed in the State of Texas without restrictions.
• Medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision and document services in EMR.
• Perform basic laboratory tests.
• Assist with patient and community education.
• Assist in the compilation of data and QA/QI chart audits.
• Maintain examination and laboratory rooms stocked and clean.
• Educate patients on disease processes, diet, and care management.
• Process Home Health Orders and referrals with authorizations.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
