Llano Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an LVN to provide nursing care to residents under physician orders and to supervise CNAs in a long-term care facility. The role requires ensuring accurate documentation, adherence to nursing standards, and coordination of admissions, transfers, and discharges.

The LVN will administer medications, communicate with residents and families, and participate in care planning and ongoing staff training to maintain professional competencies.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing.
• Ability to supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Ability to interact positively with residents, families, and regulatory agencies.
• Willingness to work long or irregular hours, often under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Review and maintain medical records and nursing notes; assess residents’ status.
• Monitor resident activity and provide nursing care per physician orders and care plans.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Transcribe and carry out physician orders accurately.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered and per policies.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Promote resident rights and participate in care plan development.
• Supervise CNAs and provide coaching as needed.
