Job summary

Houstonidence Opco, LLC is seeking an LPN/LVN to provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants in a long-term care facility. You will ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations and collaborate with the Director of Nursing to deliver high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include directing daily nursing operations, charting, medication administration, staff supervision, and participation in quality assurance activities.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in the state.
• Ability to lead nursing staff and supervise nursing assistants on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants and ensure compliance with policies.
• Chart and document accurately in resident records.
• Administer medications and verify resident identity before procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance and facility surveys as required.
