Job summary

Caregiver Inc. in Texas is seeking a compassionate LPN/LVN to join our team and provide hands-on nursing care to individuals with IDD.

Under the supervision of an RN, you will administer medications, monitor health, document care, and assist with daily living activities, all within a supportive, mission-driven environment that focuses on dignity and person-centered care. This role offers ongoing training and the chance to develop specialized skills.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license (multi-state preferred if applicable).
• Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program.
• 1+ year of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with IDD, developmental disabilities, or long-term care preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and basic computer tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing care and health monitoring
• Administer medications and treatments as directed
• Observe and report changes in health or behavior
• Assist with daily living activities (ADLs) like hygiene, mobility, and nutrition
• Support implementation of individualized care and behavior plans
• Maintain accurate documentation and medication records
• Ensure proper medication storage, handling, and inventory
• Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care when needed
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary teams

Salary Description

$28/hr
