Overview
Purpose Statement/Position Summary:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse performs a variety of clinical support and administrative duties to assist providers, nurses, and administrative staff within Employee Health Services (EHS). Provides direct care exclusively to CHLA team members, supporting workforce health, safety, and fitness for duty. Demonstrates a commitment to team member-centered care and organizational well-being.

The department is responsible for direct patient care for new hire pre-employment physicals, annuals, first aid, etc.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

1+ year experience in employee health/occupational medicine preferred.

Education/Licensure/Certifications:

Completed licensed vocational nurse program. Current license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of California. Current American Heart Association BLS card. Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 0800-16:30, but schedule may vary per department needs. Hours of operation are 0600-1630.

Pay Scale Information

$58,822.40-$78,416.00
