Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a part-time LVL 6 Bar and Lounge Porter at TD Garden in Boston, MA. You will receive, store, and rotate restaurant supplies, while supporting kitchen operations as needed. This role emphasizes accuracy in deliveries, inventory, and log maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all deliveries; analyze invoices; inspect products for quality, temperature, and condition. Rotate stock properly and report faulty deliveries.
• Receive, open, unpack, and stock restaurant supplies to shelves and service areas.
• Maintain receiving log by tracking deliveries and missing items.
• Take inventory to identify items to reorder or replenish.
• Keep storage and delivery areas clean and maintain equipment in good repair.

The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring part-time LVL 6 Bar and Lounge Porter to join our team at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. As a LVL 6 Bar and Lounge Porter, you will be responsible for receiving, maintaining, and storing front and back of house restaurant supplies. You will step into other kitchen roles as needed to support the team's overall success.

Pay

$18.00 - $18.00 / hour

What will you do?

• Monitor all deliveries; analyze invoices; inspect all products for quality, temperature, and condition.Perform proper rotation of all food and beverage products. Report any faulty or incorrect deliveries immediately
• Receive, open, unpack, and stock new or transferred restaurant supplies to their appropriate shelves, racks, tables, and service stations
• Maintain receiving log by competently tracking all deliveries and missing items
• Take inventory to identify items to be reordered or replenished
• Clean and maintain storage and delivery areas; ensureall kitchen and dining room equipment is clean, sanitary, and in good repair

More about you

• One to three months of previous stock clerk/steward or related experience highly preferred
• Basic math skills with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Must have strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
• No experience or diploma required

Physical requirements

• Constant standing and walking for the entire length of shift
• Frequently required to reach, pull, push, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds
