Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a seasonal part-time Culinary Supervisor for our LVL 6 Bar and Lounge team at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The candidate is a Cook with leadership experience, expected to deliver exceptional food service in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves supervising staff, maintaining kitchen standards, and keeping cost within targets while ensuring guest satisfaction in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience as a line cook, including supervisory experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively and lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Attentive and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all team members and ensure food preparation and production meet quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of walk-ins and freezers and keep kitchen equipment in good working order.
• Lead opening, closing and side work duties and manage proper food breakdown, rotation, labeling, dating and storage.
• Partner with team members and restaurant managers to satisfy guests.

Our ideal LVL 6 Bar and Lounge Culinary Supervisor is an experienced Cook who enjoys working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, taking pride in delivering exceptional food service and culinary excellence to our guests.

Pay

$25.00 – $25.00 / hour

What will you do?

• Supervise all team members and ensure food preparation and production meets quality standards


• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of walk-ins and freezers and ensure all kitchen equipment is in working orderEffectively supervise proper breakdown, rotation, labeling, dating, and storage of food


• Perform opening, closing and side work duties


• Actively work to maintain food cost within parameters set by culinary leadership


• Partner with team members and restaurant managers to satisfy guests

More about you

• No college degree required


• At least two years’ experience as a line cook, including supervisory experience


• Ability to effectively communicate with others and lead in a fast-paced environment


• Attentive and detailed oriented

Physical requirements

• Manual dexterity is sufficient to chop, mix, blend, whip, etc. a variety of foods and liquids


• Ability to lift and carry large pans from ovens or freezers, weighing up to 50 lbs


• Standing and walking for the entire length of the shift
