Job summary

The Lac Vieux Desert Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians (LVD) is seeking a Maintenance Laborer to perform routine maintenance duties including rough carpentry, painting, and basic equipment for facility and snow removal. The role requires dependable work habits and the ability to complete tasks to professional standards.

Primary responsibilities include assisting in unit move-in/out inspections, responding to work orders, maintaining client files, and compiling receipts.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check.
• Must provide valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Must possess basic carpentry skills.
• Must possess basic knowledge of furnace repair.
• Must possess basic knowledge of roof repair.
• Must be dependable and able to complete work in a professional manner.
• Must be able to finish drywall and paint.
• Must have basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical.
• Must be able to work without supervision.
• Must be able to retain information with confidentiality.
• Must be willing to do all types of household cleaning.

Responsibilities

EMPLOYMENT: Full-Time

SALARY/PAY RATE: $20.00-$23.00/Hour
