EPITEC in Portland, Oregon offers a two-year W2 contract as a Manufacturing Process Engineer II focused on LV cable routing and powernet planning for a confidential automotive program. The role emphasizes hands-on 2D/3D layout development, clipping/retention strategies, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and serviceability.

Formación

Hands-on routing and clipping/retention in automotive engineering.
Strong AutoCAD capability for 2D layouts, markups, and release-quality documentation.
Experience supporting automotive manufacturing builds and resolving fit, routing, or process issues.
Understanding of manufacturing and assembly feasibility.
Ability to document technical decisions and rationale across disciplines.

Responsabilidades

Create, develop, and maintain 2D/3D layouts for assigned vehicle routing content.
Develop routing layouts considering packaging constraints, interfaces, installation requirements, manufacturability, and serviceability.
Produce release-quality layouts and markups for design reviews and downstream execution.
Coordinate with bracket and fastener owners to ensure appropriate mounting provisions.
Troubleshoot routing and clipping issues across electrical and fluid systems.
