Radiant Systems Inc in Portland, Oregon is seeking an experienced routing engineer to develop and maintain 2D/3D LV cable and powernet layouts for automotive assemblies. This role focuses on low voltage battery cables, clipping, and retention, with attention to abrasion and interference prevention.

You will define clip locations, support manufacturing builds, and collaborate with cross-functional teams; proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, with NX experience preferred for 3D tools.

• Automotive engineering experience with routing, clipping, and retention.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain 2D/3D routing layouts for automotive electrical cables, harnesses, and fluid lines.
• Define clip locations, brackets, and protective solutions to prevent abrasion, chafing, and interference.
• Evaluate manufacturing feasibility, assembly sequence, tool access, and serviceability.
• Support prototype builds, troubleshoot routing issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Provide technical documentation, layout markups, and PFMEA inputs.
