Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Partner Assistance Associate (Trade Sales) to introduce our luxury yacht vacations to travel agencies across the US, Canada, and Latin America. You will build strong relationships by managing a database of agencies and explaining rates, promotions, and itineraries.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in customer service and sales, with superb communication skills and a willingness to learn all product aspects from land to air

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year college degree or 3 years experience equivalent.
• 2+ years of Customer Service and Sales experience, ideally from a luxury cruise background.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn policies, procedures, and reservation processes.

Responsibilities

• Promotes sales to travel partners by initiating calls, acting on leads, and/or prospects to identify travel needs, presenting/explaining The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection products, and making travel recommendations.
• Builds and maintains effective relationships with new and existing Travel Partners.
• Acquires in-depth industry and company knowledge to articulate cruise product features, benefits, and pricing, and recommend including promotions, itineraries, and auxiliary products such as suite upgrades and shipboard amenities.
• Attends and actively participates in daily team meetings and training to enhance knowledge of internal processes, products, and destinations.
• Maintains courteous & professional telephone etiquette at all times.
• Provides overflow support for Inbound calls/chats (when required).
• Performs other job-related functions as assigned.
