The Rusty Pelican Tampa is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, staffing, scheduling, inventory, and financial performance in a high-volume, upscale setting. You will lead by example, ensuring outstanding service and adherence to brand standards throughout all service areas.

You will drive guest satisfaction, manage costs, and collaborate with the culinary team to maintain menu quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a high-volume, full-service environment.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional service and achieving financial targets.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and financial performance.
• Lead by example, providing guidance and support to staff to uphold brand standards and deliver outstanding service.
• Monitor dining room and bar areas to ensure smooth service and address issues promptly and professionally.
• Train and develop staff to enhance skills and foster a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Collaborate with culinary team to maintain quality and consistency of menu offerings.
• Manage inventory levels and control costs to maximize profitability while minimizing waste and shrinkage.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, soliciting feedback and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with special events, promotions, and marketing initiatives to drive revenue and brand awareness.
