Qualifications

• 2 years' experience as a line cook
• Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients and kitchen equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Positive attitude, team player, collaborative
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals per established recipes and standards
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Maintain clean, organized work area per Health Department standards
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient service
• Stock stations with necessary supplies
• Ensure attractive, appetizing food presentation
• Assist in ingredient preparation and future meal prep
• Monitor inventory and report shortages to kitchen management
• Handle and store food items properly to prevent spoilage
• Adhere to portion control and minimize waste
• Assist in mentoring junior kitchen staff as needed
