Phillip Jeffries, a global luxury wallcovering brand, seeks a Visual Design Manager in Fairfield, NJ. The role blends creative design, project management, and leadership to elevate showroom experiences and storytelling.

You will lead visual displays, showroom standards, and collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Showrooms worldwide. Requirements include a Bachelor’s in a related field, 4–6 years in visual merchandising, a strong portfolio, and travel about three days per month.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, or a related field
• 4–6 years of experience in visual merchandising or store design, ideally within luxury or premium retail
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative display work and showroom execution
• Understanding of retail, sales, and marketing strategies within the luxury design space
• Ability to travel for projects approximately three days per month

Responsabilités

• Design and execute elevated visual displays that communicate product launches, campaigns, and brand stories
• Develop and implement showroom props, florals, styling elements, and immersive display experiences
• Lead design and execution for tradeshows, pop-up showrooms, and experiential environments
• Partner with Marketing and Sales to ensure visual storytelling supports business objectives
• Research trends across luxury retail, hospitality, and design to inform innovation and customer engagement
• Develop and maintain merchandising standards and frameworks across showrooms
• Review showroom plans, vignette selections, and display initiatives for brand alignment
• Evaluate showroom performance and propose enhancements to presentation and customer experience
• Support creation of merchandising tools, training materials, and scalable systems
• Own projects from concept through installation, managing scope, timeline, and budget
• Build and manage project plans, resources, and risks across priorities
• Track progress, communicate updates, and resolve challenges
• Foster showroom audits and identify opportunities to improve customer experience
• Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and support to Visual Merchandising team
• Assign and prioritize work to ensure timely completion
• Support team development through coaching, feedback, and performance management
• Foster collaborative, high-performing environment aligned with PJ values
• Identify opportunities to enhance visual storytelling across global locations
