Job summary

The Dewberry Charleston is seeking a Valet in Charleston, SC. This full-time, non-management role in the Parking department reports to the Luxury Valet Supervisor and requires weekend and evening availability.

You will provide guests with a warm first impression, assist with luggage, and drive vehicles safely, maintaining the front drive and supporting other hotel team members. Qualifications include a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, strong guest service skills, and the

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
Strong guest service and communication skills.
Ability to work weekends, nights, holidays.
Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Greet guests with a hospitable demeanor and provide a smooth first impression.
Escort and assist guests, opening doors and guiding to their destination.
Safely park and retrieve vehicles and complete daily audits of parked cars.
Maintain the front drive and assist Bellman/Doorman as needed.
Use ALICE to log tasks and ensure guests are charged correctly for transportation.
