Job summary

The Dewberry is seeking a Luxury Front Desk Host in Charleston, SC. You will welcome guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, and ensure accurate folio handling while delivering warm, anticipatory service aligned with brand standards.

Collaborate with Front Office and other departments to create memorable stays, upsell where appropriate, and respond promptly to guest requests, with a goal of exceptional guest satisfaction and seamless operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year hotel/hospitality experience.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth and provide a welcoming arrival experience.
• Assist guests with check-ins and check-outs and manage guest folios.
• Handle room key system and upsell appropriate room packages.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel promos and safety procedures.
• Respond to guest requests within agreed timeframes and resolve issues.
