Job summary

Better Talent is seeking a Field Team Member to maintain luxury vacation rental properties in the San Diego area. You will perform property inspections, handle maintenance tasks, restock supplies, and coordinate with Housekeeping and Operations to ensure guest-ready homes.

Based in Pacific Beach, this role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work weekends and overtime. A minimum four years in residential maintenance and a valid driver's license with a personal

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of residential home maintenance experience.
• Hospitality or vacation rental experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential home systems and repairs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work.
• Valid driver's license with reliable vehicle.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled property inspections to verify cleanliness and guest readiness.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs as assigned.
• Assist with same-day turnovers and property preparations.
• Restock guest amenities and supplies.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns and safety hazards promptly.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Operations to resolve issues.
• Drive between properties using personal vehicle.
• Document work with company software.
