Job summary

Investment Watches in Austin seeks an experienced Client Advisor to work with collectors buying, selling, and trading luxury watches. You will guide both seasoned and first-time buyers, drawing on deep knowledge of brands, references, movements, and market values.

Success depends on building trust, discretion, and long-term relationships. You will represent the brand at the Austin showroom, events, and industry gatherings, while staying current on market pricing and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Substantial knowledge of luxury watches.
• Ability to discuss references, complications, movements, condition, and market pricing.
• Experience in luxury watches or high-end sales preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable building a personal client network.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
• Assist clients with buying, selling, and trading luxury watches.
• Provide knowledgeable guidance regarding brands, models, references, complications, condition, provenance, and market value.
• Understand each client's collection, preferences, and future purchasing goals.
• Respond promptly to inquiries by phone, email, text, and social media.
• Source watches through dealer and collector network and present watches confidently to buyers.
• Evaluate market opportunities and help clients make informed purchasing decisions.
• Follow up with prospective clients and active opportunities.
• Maintain accurate client records and sales activity in our systems.
• Coordinate with authentication, logistics, service, and inventory teams.
• Represent Investment Watches at showroom appointments, events, and industry gatherings.
• Stay current on watch-market pricing, liquidity, new releases, and industry developments.
