Job summary

The Romo Group in Central Florida is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to serve interior designers, architects and design professionals, driving growth for Romo across the territory while acting as the region's ambassador for luxury textiles.

Based in the Orlando/Tampa area, you will conduct in-studio presentations, build lasting relationships, manage a strategic call cycle, travel as needed and maintain accurate CRM records to hit annual sales targets.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience in design, fashion, luxury goods or relevant industry sales preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and networking abilities within the design community.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for client-facing work.

Responsibilities

• Assist design professionals in sourcing fabrics, wallcoverings and Romo Group products for their projects.
• Schedule and conduct regular in-studio product presentations with major collection launches.
• Develop a strategic call cycle to cover existing customers and new business.
• Build strong relationships with customers and become a trusted resource in the design community.
• Grow the customer base through research, referrals, networking, social media and proactive prospecting.
• Identify high-potential accounts and craft strategies to increase penetration and sales.
• Manage designer sample libraries and ensure Romo products are visible and easy to specify.
• Set customer-level sales targets, monitor performance and pursue growth opportunities.
• Meet or exceed annual sales goals and maintain CRM records.
