Job summary

Omni Viking Lakes Hotel is seeking a Massage Therapist to join its Idlewild Spa team. The role focuses on guest satisfaction by delivering high-quality massage services and maintaining Omni standards throughout all procedures.

The position requires at least 1 year of massage experience, an active therapist license, and the ability to communicate effectively in English. Part-time hours with benefits including dental, vision, and healthcare are offered along with employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in massage therapy preferably in an upscale salon or spa.
• Proficient skills in traditional and modern forms of massage.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.

• Excellent client care, guest service and attention to detail.
• Ability and willingness to update technical skills by facilitating and participating in on-going training.
• Effective communicator
• Active therapist license required.
• Ability to maintain compliance with State Board sanitation/sterilization procedures.

Responsibilities

• To work as part of the spa therapy team to consistently provide the highest possible standard of treatment, creating an elevated, sensory journey for guests helping them to rest, relax and regain balance.
• Supports new Omni Safe and Clean Protocols throughout the spa to support Omni's sanitation protocols.
• Responsible for stocking / setting up and re-setting the treatment rooms according to Opening and Closing Operational Checklists.
• Removal of dirty linens in a timely manner.
• Maintain sanitation of work area and equipment as required by state board guidelines.
• Ensure all professional stock is being used in compliance with the PAR levels to assist with reduction in product waste.
• To begin and end treatments at the published time and ensure correct procedures of all treatments are being followed at all times.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
• Ensure all guests depart with a completed Professional Recommendation Form after each and every service.
• Strive to consistently encourage upgrades and produce a minimum of 10% in retail sales per day / week/ month.
• Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings.
