Fairmont Grand Del Mar is hiring a Holiday Season Grand Social Server Assistant to support servers and bartenders in delivering a luxury dining experience. The role requires energy, strong communication, and a polished, professional appearance.

Typical duties include setting up service areas, assisting colleagues, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Applicants should have prior restaurant experience, food handler certification, and California-serving knowledge.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar restaurant environment preferred.
• Food Handlers Card required.
• RBS Certification required.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers and bartenders to meet guest needs.
• Maintain a congenial appearance and be well groomed.
• Prepare service setups and assist with bar area readiness.
• Support staff in delivering a flawless dining experience.
• Expedite dishes to service, maintain table and promote guest satisfaction.
• Communicate between kitchen and front of house to ensure smooth service.
