Qualifications

• Prior serving experience of at least 2 years in a restaurant environment.
• Food Handlers Card required.
• RBS Certification required.
• High School graduate.
• Must speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must possess basic math skills and the ability to use a calculator.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Ability to solve problems and make rational decisions.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and California serving guidelines.
• Superior guest service abilities and understanding of hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

• Take guest food and beverage orders and provide excellent guest service.
• Interact with guests one-on-one and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Follow Restaurant Standards of Service and assist teammates as needed.
• Display a professional, well-groomed appearance at all times.
• Maintain restaurant tables and support smooth service flow.
• Handle guest checks according to hotel policy.
• Assist guests in a friendly, professional manner and follow manager directions.
