Job summary

Poltrona Frau in New York seeks a refined Sales Associate to blend luxury sales, business development, and interior design consultation within our showroom. This hybrid role offers exposure to private clients, architects, designers, and developers, guiding projects from inspiration to final sale while building lasting relationships in the Architecture & Design community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• 3-5+ years of experience in luxury furniture, high-end retail, interior design, architecture, business development, or a related client-facing sales environment.
• Experience working with architects, interior designers, developers, dealers, or luxury residential/commercial projects preferred.
• Demonstrated success building client relationships, developing new business, managing multiple projects, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional luxury showroom experience by guiding purchasing decisions with professionalism, discretion, and expertise.
• Identify, develop, and maintain new business opportunities while nurturing existing client, dealer, and A&D relationships.
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through networking, prospecting, referrals, and follow-up activities.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, revisions, and project documentation while ensuring timely communication throughout the customer journey.
• Represent Poltrona Frau at showroom appointments, presentations, networking events, and industry functions.
• Collaborate with the Showroom Manager to support operational initiatives, business objectives, and overall showroom performance.
