Job summary

WDC Kitchen & Bath Center in Agoura Hills, CA seeks a Showroom Receptionist to support Sales by welcoming customers and managing front-desk communications. The role focuses on confident, courteous interaction in person and over the phone, with strong organizational skills and basic Microsoft Office use.

You will greet visitors, forward calls, relay messages with confidentiality, and assist with clerical tasks while contributing to a positive showroom culture. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in luxury retail or similar role.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Weekend availability and ability to work 9:30am–6:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Promptly, accurately, professionally and courteously receive most telephone calls.
• Adept at using all telephone system features for forwarding calls, placing on hold, and checking voicemails.
• Record and relays messages to Showroom team members while keeping professionalism and confidentiality.
• Engage with Customers professionally and courteously with genuine concern for their WDC experience needs.
• Promptly greets every person entering the Showroom within WDC Customer Experience guidelines.
• Ensure reception area is tidy and clean, escalate hazards promptly.
• Assist with seasonal store decoration efforts with the Showroom Concierge.
• Directs job applicants to fill out online applications; escalate verifications to HR.
• Signs for deliveries and notifies recipients.
• Performs routine office tasks and data entry as observed by Area Manager.
