Tradition Senior Living, LP in Fort Worth (Clearfork) is seeking a hands-on Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and lead daily kitchen operations in a luxury senior living community offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care.

You will train staff, plan menus, ensure food quality, adhere to health and safety guidelines, and manage inventory in a fast-paced environment while working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree from a culinary school is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards
• Manage the kitchen staff, ensuring that all food is prepared in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Assist in menu planning and recipe development
• Train and mentor kitchen staff
• Order and maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and equipment
• Assist in the preparation of food as needed
