Job summary

Grand Living in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef with culinary leadership across Bistro, Casual, Formal, Luminations memory care, and Club Room venues. You will supervise staff, train cooks, and uphold high standards of service and quality for residents and guests.

The role requires a culinary degree, 3+ years in hospitality, and a ServeSafe certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• College or Culinary School Degree is required.
• Education/experience combination acceptable; relevant training preferred.
• Three+ years in Food & Beverage, country club, fine dining, restaurant or senior living hospitality.
• ServeSafe certification is preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English to direct, hire and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef with oversight and culinary training of kitchen staff.
• Supervise culinary activities across dining venues and events.
• Maintain The Sterling Touch standards for resident and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure timeliness, safety and quality in all kitchen operations.
