Job summary

Tradition Senior Living is seeking a Full-time Cook for the Fort Worth - Clearfork community. You will be responsible for the timely preparation of meals per approved recipes, assist with sanitation, and help with receiving and inventory.

The Cook reports to the Executive Chef and supports the Food & Beverage department. Requirements include at least one year of restaurant cooking experience and strong culinary skills.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience cooking in a restaurant setting.
• Possesses strong culinary skills.
• Knowledge of restaurant style service as related to meal preparation and timing.
• Ability read and follow recipes.
• Possesses sound organizational and time management skills.
• Possesses good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Cook quality food to standard and presentation.
• Style meals for quality and timely service.
• Keep kitchen and service areas clean and sanitized.
• Ensure appealing meal presentation and timely preparation.
• Engage in guest/resident interactions and effective communication.
• Monitor inventory and supplies.

We are currently seeking aFull-time Cookat our Fort Worth - Clearforkcommunity. In this role, you will be responsible forthe timely preparation of meals with a high-quality presentation. Prepare meals according to approved recipes and preparation guides. Assist with sanitation of the food service areas and the receiving and inventory of supplies and products. Maintains a safe, sanitary environment and follows regulatory guidelines.TheCookreports directly to ourExecutive Chefwho oversees day to day operations of the community'sFood & Beveragedepartment.

• Be able to style, quality and timeliness of meal service.
• Make sure to keep the kitchen and service areas clean.
• Meal presentation (appealing plate, entrée availability and timeliness of preparation).
• Guest relations, (resident/guest interaction, and communication).
