Job summary

Belmont Village Rancho Santa Fe is seeking a Dining Room Manager to lead the daily operations of our restaurant‑style dining program, overseeing service standards, hiring, training, scheduling, and resident dining satisfaction.

This hands‑on leadership role is ideal for experienced hospitality professionals with backgrounds as a Restaurant Manager, F&B Manager, Dining Services Manager, or Front of House Manager.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years dining supervisor experience in senior living or similar.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Clear English communication.
• Experience with MS Office and POS.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and actively support dining room servers to ensure exceptional service.
• Oversee cleanliness and organization of dining spaces (Bistro and Dining Room).
• Coordinate guest seating and dining room readiness for meals.
• Develop work schedules, delegate tasks and train team members.
• Uphold health and safety standards for food handling and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with Sales/Marketing, Activities, and residents for events.
• Address resident/guest feedback professionally.
• Train employees on safety, food handling, and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with leadership and regional teams to align with goals.
• Lead staffing, hiring, evaluations, and coaching.
