Braswell & Son Pawnbrokers in Markham, Little Rock, AR, is seeking a Luxury Sales & Pawn Specialist to greet clients, sell fine jewelry, watches, and designer handbags, and write collateral loans with clear terms. You will test items for authenticity and maintain discreet, client-focused service.

We value two+ years in a luxury or high-end retail role, ability to discuss value with warmth, and strong attention to detail. Bilingual candidates are encouraged, with Spanish helpful in our markets.

Full-Time | $16.00 – $20.00 per hour, plus commission and weekly spiff

Braswell & Son is a family-owned luxury pawnbroker with eight stores across Arkansas and Tennessee. We sell fine jewelry, watches, and designer handbags. We also lend against them.

Our Markham location serves our most discerning clients. Some come in to buy a gift. Some come in because they need cash and have something of value. Both deserve the same care, the same discretion, and the same expert eye.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Greet every client warmly and give them your full attention.
• Sell fine jewelry, watches, and designer handbags. Know the brands. Know the details.
• Ask good questions so you understand what each client actually needs.
• Write collateral loans with care. Explain the amount, the fees, and the due date in plain language.
• Inspect and test every item. Verify metals, stones, movements, and authenticity using our approved methods.
• Keep every transaction accurate in our system.
• Build a client list that comes back to you by name.
• Protect our clients' privacy at all times.
• Follow all pawn compliance, ID verification, and anti-money-laundering steps, every time.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Experience selling luxury goods — fine jewelry, watches, or designer handbags. Luxury retail, jewelry retail, or high-end resale backgrounds are a strong fit.
• Comfort talking about money. You can discuss a client's financial situation with warmth and zero judgment.
• Real relationship skills. Your best clients ask for you.
• A record of staying and growing. We look for two or more years in a recent role.
• Strong attention to detail. Here, a small mistake is an expensive mistake.
• Honesty you can point to. We are trusted with people's valuables and their private information.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Spanish is especially helpful in our markets.

SCHEDULE AND APPEARANCE

We are closed on Sundays and major holidays. Fridays and Saturdays are our busiest days, and you should expect to work most of them. Some evening hours are part of the schedule.

Our clients expect a polished experience, so we ask all team members to meet a professional, business-dress standard on the sales floor. We will cover the specifics in your interview, and we make accommodations for religious dress, grooming practices, and disability needs.

PAY AND BENEFITS

• $16.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience
• Paid weekly by direct deposit every Friday
• Commission on qualifying sales, plus a weekly productivity spiff
• Closed Sundays and major holidays
• Paid training in luxury product knowledge, authentication, and pawn compliance

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 18 years old
• Must pass a background check that meets Company standards and applicable law
• Must complete all required pawn licensing and compliance training
• Able to stand and walk for most of a shift
• Able to lift and move merchandise up to 50 pounds, with help for larger items. Reasonable accommodations are available.
• Comfortable with a computer, a point-of-sale system, and testing equipment
