Job summary

La Garconne is seeking a well-rounded Sales Associate for its flagship Tribeca store. The role supports both part-time and full-time schedules, focusing on luxury women’s RTW, shoes, and handbags.

You will uphold the brand image, engage clients, and work collaboratively with team members to ensure a superior shopping experience. Applicants should have a strong client-service background, be detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in high-end luxury Women's RTW and shoes/handbags.
• Solid understanding of designer DNA (e.g., Bergfabel, Comme Des Garcons, Casey Casey, Arts & Science, The Row).
• Team oriented with a sense of urgency to take initiative and help colleagues.
• Special understanding of customer service needs and client priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively.
• Ability to work varied hours/days, weekends and holidays.
• Bilingual a plus, but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Uphold the company image by maintaining a professional demeanor and formality at all times.
• Roll up your sleeves and handle daily operations (check in new merchandise, steam, restock, etc.).
• Work with clients to meet their needs and maintain brand standards to optimize client experience.
• Cultivate strong client relationships with consistent communication and follow-up on sales.
• Maintain sales floor standards and stock areas with neat, uniform presentation.
• Assist with inventory, special events and projects as needed.
