Job summary

Extell Hospitality Services operates Kimpton Era, a luxury boutique hotel in New York City. The Rooms Operation Coordinator will synchronize Front Office, Housekeeping and Engineering to optimize inventory, fulfill guest requests with precision, and ensure seamless inter-departmental communication.

The role partners with the Director of Operations, Director of Housekeeping and Engineering to maintain service standards, manage room blocks, monitor OOO/OOS status, and support a high-touch guest

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in Rooms Division operations within a luxury or boutique hotel.
• Proficiency with property management systems and guest request tracking software (e.g., HotSOS).
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving skills focused on inventory optimization and labor efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Inventory & rooms control, blocking and status reconciliation.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping and Engineering for real-time room status.
• Maintain Do Not Disturb (DND) logs and escalate security concerns when needed.
• Dispatch guest requests and ensure timely service delivery to meet brand standards.
