Job summary

Extell Hospitality Services is seeking a meticulous Rooms Operation Coordinator for Kimpton Era, a luxury boutique hotel near Rockefeller Center. You will synchronize Front Office, Housekeeping, and Engineering to optimize inventory, meet guest requests, and maintain seamless communication across departments.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will manage daily room blocks, monitor OOO/OOS rooms, coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering, and dispatch guest requests efficiently

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in Rooms Division operations within a luxury or boutique hotel.
• Proficiency in Property Management Systems and guest request tracking software.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication with calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Inventory & Rooms Control and blocking for arrivals, VIPs, and groups.
• Monitor out-of-order and out-of-service rooms; coordinate to return to inventory quickly.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping and Engineering to maintain status accuracy.
• Dispatch guest requests and manage DND rooms while ensuring security and service standards.
