Job summary

Extell Hospitality Services operates Kimpton Era, a luxury boutique hotel in New York, seeking a highly organized Rooms Operation Coordinator to synchronize Front Office, Housekeeping, and Engineering. This role ensures optimal inventory, timely guest requests, and seamless inter-department communication under tight schedules.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will collaborate with Directors of Housekeeping and Engineering and Sales to uphold Kimpton’s service standards while handling

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in Rooms Division operations within luxury or boutique hotel environments.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills under high-pressure situations.
• Strong focus on inventory optimization and labor efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Inventory & Rooms Control: Manage daily room blocks for arrivals and VIPs; monitor OOO/OOS rooms; reconcile PMS and physical status.
• Housekeeping & Labor Coordination: Reassign room sections in real-time; manage DND log and wellness checks; dispatch extra linen and amenities.
• Communications & Dispatch: Central dispatcher for Guest Service, Housekeeping and Engineering; monitor service delays; liaise with Sales for group readiness.
